Estoy aquí para atenderte/
I’m Here to Attend You (Estoy aquí para atenderte) is a solo dance performance by Martina Passeggi, created in collaboration with sound designer Juan Pablo Maissonauve and visual artist Sam Scheuermann.
The work explores the body as a vessel—channeling emotions, memories, and images. Embracing randomness and accumulation as structuring principles, the piece navigates references ranging from Uruguay’s national anthem to TikTok dances, musical theatre, and the melancholic echoes of digital social interactions.
Layers of simultaneous realities emerge as images, gestures, and sounds overlap, glitch, and switch within one body. The constant oscillation between recognition and disorientation, between what is familiar and what is lost in repetition and fragmentation, invites reflection on how we experience and process identity.
Developed during the Mime Fabriek Residencies 2024 in Amsterdam, it premiered in Uruguay as part of the No Tan Solos Al Mediodía series at Teatro Solís
