Martina Passeggi (1999, Uruguay) is a dancer, actress and choreographer that develops her studies and artistic work between Europe and Uruguay.

She holds a degree in Dance Research from the University of the Republic of Uruguay (UDELAR) and trained at the National School of Dance - SODRE.

Martina has also received scholarships to study at the Expanded Contemporary Dance at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (2022) and the Descalzinha Danza Professional Dance Program in Madrid (2023/2024). Additionally, she studied Musical Theatre at the School for Performing Arts (EAA).

As a performer and dancer, Martina has participated in works and productions by: Fabián Santarciel de la Quintana (Uruguay/Netherlands) - Enjambre (2019), Julieta Malaneschii (Uruguay) - La madera me hace llorar (2022/2023), Laila Tafur (Spain) - Los osados tutoriales, hacia un jondo bastardo (2024), Bea Bayón (Andalucía/Netherlands) - Gaze (2025/2026), Daniele Ninarello (Italy) - Rise (2026).

In 2025, Martina Passeggi made her debut as a leading actress in A Bright Future, the second feature film by Lucía Garibaldi, winner of the Best Director Award at Sundance Film Festival 2019. The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City in June 2025, where it won the Viewpoints Award.

In the same year, she was selected as a young choreographer for INCUBATORE (2025/2027) by the Centro Internazionale Movimento Danza in Milan, where she will develop her authorship as a choreographer. She was also selected alongside Elia Fort Majo as a resident choreographer in La Turbo Casa Dinàmica by Cia. Miquel Barcelona to develop their collaborative project Habitació Pròpia.

Since 2021, Martina has been collaborating with the self-managed collective Polémica (Uruguay), contributing to works such as: Show Show Show (2021), Todo lo que no te pude decir (2022/2023), No todo esto es una contradicción (2022-ongoing). These projects have been featured in the Festival Internacional de Danza Contemporánea del Uruguay (2022), ciclo No Tan Solos Al Mediodía, and Festival Nexo.

In 2022, Martina premiered her first solo work, Azúcar Impalpable, selected for the Young Creators Festival, Uruguay. It was subsequently presented at the Intendencia de Montevideo, Festival Nexo, Uruguay and Tierras del Q alat in Huesca, Spain. In 2023, she joined Dantzaz (Spain), a dance company in the Basque Country, as an apprentice dancer.

In 2024, Martina was selected as resident at Mime Fabriek in Amsterdam, where she developed her piece Estoy Aquí para Atenderte. The work premiered as part of the No Tan Solos Al Mediodía series at Teatro Solís. That same year, her project CONTRA TODA DICCIÓN received an honorable mention from the Cultural Competitive Fund (MEC). In 2024, she also won PRENDE Fund from the Department of Culture of Canelones (Uruguay) for her artistic mediation project Más Azúcar Impalpable.

Throughout her career, Martina has received support through scholarships and grants from several organizations, including: Vivo Ballet Centre - Rome, Italy (2020), Ministry of Culture and Sports - Spain (2020), Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) - Uruguay (2021), Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten - Netherlands (2022), National Institute of Performing Arts (INAE) - Uruguay (2022), National School of Dance - (SODRE) - Uruguay (2022) and the Department of Culture of Canelones - Uruguay (2024).
