Martina Passeggi es una intérprete, bailarina y creadora en danza contemporánea uruguaya. Desarrolla sus estudios y su trabajo artístico entre Europa y Uruguay y actualmente reside en ambas regiones.
Es egresada de la Licenciatura en Danza por la Universidad de la República (UDELAR) y de la Escuela Nacional de Danza – SODRE división Danza Contemporánea. A su vez, ha recibido becas para estudiar en Países Bajos en la Expanded Contemporary Dance de la Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (2022) y en el programa profesional Descalzinha Danza en Madrid, España (2023–2024). Además, se formó en Teatro Musical en la Escuela de Acción Artística (EAA).
Como intérprete y bailarina, ha participado en obras y producciones de: Fabián Santarciel de la Quintana (Uruguay/Países Bajos) – Enjambre (2019), Julieta Malaneschii (Uruguay) – La madera me hace llorar (2022/2023), Lucía Garibaldi – Un futuro brillante (2023, Uruguay/Argentina/Alemania), Laila Tafur (España) – Los osados tutoriales, hacia un jondo bastardo (2024).
En 2025, Martina debutó como actriz protagonista en A Bright Future – Un futuro brillante, el segundo largometraje de Lucía Garibaldi, ganadora del premio a Mejor Dirección en el Festival de Cine de Sundance 2019. La película tendrá su estreno mundial en el Tribeca Film Festival, en la ciudad de Nueva York, en junio de 2025.
Desde 2021, Martina forma parte de Polémica colectivo (Uruguay), aportando a obras como: Show Show Show (2021), Todo lo que no te pude decir (2022/2023), No todo esto es una contradicción (2022–actualidad). Estos proyectos han sido presentados en el Festival Internacional de Danza Contemporánea del Uruguay (2022), el ciclo No Tan Solos Al Mediodía y el Festival Nexo.
En 2022, estrenó su primer solo, Azúcar Impalpable, seleccionado para el Festival de Jóvenes Creadores en la Sala Hugo Balzo (Uruguay). Posteriormente se presentó en la Intendencia de Montevideo (Uruguay), el Festival Nexo (Uruguay) y en Tierras del Qalat en Huesca (España).
En 2023, se unió como bailarina aprendiz a la compañía Dantzaz (España), en el País Vasco.
En 2024, fue seleccionada como residente en Mime Fabriek en Ámsterdam (Países Bajos), donde desarrolló su obra Estoy Aquí para Atenderte. La pieza se estrenó en el ciclo No Tan Solos Al Mediodía en el Teatro Solís. Ese mismo año, su proyecto CONTRA TODA DICCIÓN recibió una mención de honor del Fondo Concursable para la Cultura (MEC). A su vez, ganó el Fondo PRENDE del Departamento de Cultura de Canelones por su proyecto de mediación artística titulado Más Azúcar Impalpable.
A lo largo de su trayectoria, Martina ha contado con el apoyo de becas y subsidios de diversas instituciones, entre ellas: Vivo Ballet Centre – Roma, Italia (2020), Ministerio de Cultura y Deporte – España (2020), Ministerio de Educación y Cultura (MEC) – Uruguay (2021), Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten – Países Bajos (2022), Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas (INAE) – Uruguay (2022), Escuela Nacional de Danza – SODRE – Uruguay (2022) y la Intendencia de Canelones – Uruguay (2024).

Martina Passeggi (1999, Uruguay) is a performer, dancer and maker that develops her studies and artistic work between Europe and Uruguay and is currently based in both regions.
She holds a degree in Dance Investigation from the University of the Republic of Uruguay (UDELAR) and trained at the National School of Dance – SODRE.
Martina has also received scholarships to study at the Expanded Contemporary Dance at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (2022) and the Descalzinha Danza Professional Dance Program in Madrid (2023– 2024). Additionally, she studied Musical Theatre at the School for Performing Arts (EAA).
As a performer and dancer, Martina has participated in works and productions by: Fabián Santarciel de la Quintana (Uruguay/Netherlands) – Enjambre (2019), Julieta Malaneschii (Uruguay) – La madera me hace llorar (2022/2023), Lucía Garibaldi – Un futuro brillante (2023, Uruguay/Argentina/Germany), Laila Tafur (Spain) – Los osados tutoriales, hacia un jondo bastardo (2024).
In 2025, Martina made her debut as a leading actress in A Bright Future – Un futuro brillante, the second feature film by Lucía Garibaldi, winner of the Best Director Award at Sundance Film Festival 2019. The film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, June 2025.

In 2022, Martina premiered her first solo work, Azúcar Impalpable, selected for the Young Creators Festival, Uruguay. It was subsequently presented at the Intendencia de Montevideo, Festival Nexo, Uruguay and Tierras del Q alat in Huesca, Spain.
In 2023, she joined Dantzaz (Spain), a dance company in the Basque Country, as an apprentice dancer.
In 2024, Martina was selected as resident at Mime Fabriek in Amsterdam, where she developed her piece Estoy Aquí para Atenderte. The work premiered as part of the No Tan Solos Al Mediodía series at Teatro Solís. That same year, her project CONTRA TODA DICCIÓN received an honorable mention from the Cultural Competitive Fund (MEC). In 2024, she also won PRENDE Fund from the Department of Culture of Canelones (Uruguay) for her artistic mediation project Más Azúcar Impalpable.
